As usual we were welcomed with open arms for this annual match against Eton Boys, some of which must have been at least half a century younger than some of our players!
Unfortunately the GB Vets lost 2/3 with only Dave Smith and Geoff Gill managing to win. These 2 played PAR scoring, the rest traditional HiHo - did this have an influence on their results?!
After the main matches, most continued to play other boys long into the afternoon. A few doubles matches were also played which the GB Vets also managed to lose, but there is always next year!
