After a satisfying 4/2 win against long time adversaries Chichester the previous day, a rejuvenated team of GB Vets arrived at Lee on Solent on a high.
We were met by an exuberant Martin Collins-Ballard who assured us that he had provided some tough opposition for us but the GB Vets were up to the challenge and came through with flying colours, achieving a 4/1 winning result.
Two matches of note were:- Steve McLoughlin v John Foster and the effervescent duo of Lance Kinder and John Woodliffe both matches going to five sets and both played in a true sportsmanlike manner.
Thank you Lee on Solent for once again hosting this annual event and the warm hospitality.
